      • Orders will ship within 14 days of purchase. We only ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays using UPS.
      • NOTE: We are experiencing ongoing shipping delays with some of our UPS orders. This is not a UPS-only issue, the entire industry (and other carriers) is suffering from the impacts of the labor shortage. Unfortunately, these delays will likely increase as we get closer to the holiday season so please be aware of this when placing an order; in some cases, the shipment may be delayed by a number of days.
      • No substitutions are allowed, and we cannot add to or modify your order once it has been placed.
      • The Herbivorous Butcher cannot ship food products to a PO or APO Box. 
      • Shipping, insulation & ice packs are included in the displayed cost.
      • Products are perishable and must be refrigerated upon arrival.
      • You will receive a pre-shipment email from shipping@theherbivorousbutcher.com - please add this to your contacts so it doesn't go to your spam folder. Your tracking number will be emailed the day your order ships. 
      • If you do not add Route Package Protection at checkout for an extra fee, The Herbivorous Butcher will not replace or provide credit for any products that are lost, damaged, or stolen.


      • Once your order has reached the production phase, we cannot cancel or refund your order.
      • We do not accept returns, though we will refund if there are quality issues with the product upon receipt (such as temperature control issues). 
      • Shipping cannot be expedited.
      • If you would like to know the whereabouts of your package once it ships, please contact UPS with your tracking number. 
      • If your order is delayed, we will not be able to provide a replacement until you receive it and communicate with us regarding the condition of the products upon arrival.
      • We do not require a signature for delivery.
      • Is this a gift? PLEASE TELL THE RECIPIENT TO EXPECT IT as our products are perishable! If your recipient refuses the delivery, is not available to accept the delivery or does not answer the door it will be returned to us by UPS and no longer consumable. You will need to place and pay for a new order if this occurs. 


      • If you order a Gift Certificate for local pickup, it cannot be used towards an online purchase.
      • If you order a Gift Certificate for shipped orders, it cannot be used in store.
      • We cannot replace lost or stolen in-store gift cards.
      • All gift certificates are delivered electronically. We do not offer physical gift cards.
